The Recovery Process

Addiction is an illness that can be diagnosed and treated. This illness damages the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of individuals and their families. At Providence Recovery Center, we understand that all of these aspects of life will need to be addressed in order to restore balance to the lives affected by addiction.

With appropriate care and planning, abstinence and long-term success can be expected. People with addiction disorders can regain a life of integrity full of unlimited possibilities. With proper care, the promise of an exciting future will return regardless of the amount of damage that has resulted from the addiction.

Intervention

We also understand that people suffering from addictions often do not want or recognize the need for help. In some instances, intervention of family and friends is necessary. The chemically dependent person sometimes needs to understand how their self-destructive behavior is causing emotional pain and suffering to those around them. Providence Recovery Center works with highly skilled, professional interventionists.  The Interventionist will help family and friends confront the addict or alcoholic in a loving and supportive way, and encourage them to find the strength to enter a drug treatment or alcohol rehabilitation program. Our Intake Staff will work closely with you and the Interventionist through the entire process.

Early intervention, rehabilitation, and a well-constructed after-care strategy will greatly enhance the likelihood of long-term success.

Beyond Treatment

Each patient will collaborate with their assigned Case Manager to develop a long-term continuing care plan. This aftercare plan is designed to help ensure continued recovery well beyond the ‘rehab’ episode. Our clinical team at Providence will work with families, clergy, employers, therapists, community professionals, and self-help groups to guarantee that each client has access to the best possible continuum of care.
