Intervention
Sometimes, people suffering from addictions often do not want or recognize the need for help. In some instances, intervention of family and friends is necessary. The chemically dependent person sometimes needs to understand how their self-destructive behavior is causing emotional pain and suffering to those around them. Providence Recovery Center works with highly skilled, professional interventionists. The Interventionist will help family and friends confront the addict or alcoholic in a loving and supportive way, and encourage them to find the strength to enter a drug treatment or alcohol rehabilitation program. Our Intake Staff will work closely with you and the Interventionist through the entire process.
Travel & What to Bring
Our Intake Counselors will assist with travel arrangements and airport pickup, when necessary.
Generally, an individual should bring the same amount of clothing and personal items that they would pack for a 2-week stay, and clear their calendar for the next 30-90 days. Providence staff will discuss with you what items are, and are not allowed prior to the actual intake.
